Maryland's first monument dedicated to women veterans, a granite memorial with engraved commemorative plaques set beneath gingko trees at the Chesapeake House travel plaza in Port Deposit, MD, opened in 2015; designed by Ayers Saint Gross (landscape architecture and graphic design).
