TRANSPOtting — OC Transpo Transitway Sound Wall
TRANSPOtting is a public-art light installation in Ottawa, ON, completed in 2012 for the City of Ottawa, comprising 80 LED panels embedded in a 198-linear-metre transitway sound wall that pulse in real time based on OC Transpo bus schedule data; Eos Lightmedia supplied, designed, and programmed the lighting.

Description
As the first bus of the day leaves the terminal, the wall begins to pulse with a different color per bus route; brightness builds and recedes with the number of buses in transit throughout the day, acting as a live heat map of citywide bus movement for waiting passengers.
