The Shed, an eight-level, 200,000 sq ft cultural venue at Hudson Yards in New York, opened April 5, 2019, combining a fixed base building with a 120-foot deployable telescoping outer shell; architecture by Diller Scofidio + Renfro with Rockwell Group.
