The Flint Hills Discovery Center, a science and discovery center on the Flint Hills tallgrass prairie ecosystem, opened April 14, 2012 in Manhattan, Kansas, with a 180-degree immersive theater film by Donna Lawrence Productions, exhibit design by Hilferty & Associates, and fabrication by Split Rock Studios.
