Description

Visitors move through five small rooms in groups of four, experiencing civil rights history through media displays and a VR simulation positioning them near the Washington Monument reflecting pool during Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech. The experience begins with an audio introduction to the origins of the civil rights movement before visitors don VR headsets. The project was co-created by TIME's Mia Tramz and Alton Glass, with Viola Davis as executive producer and narrator; debuted February 28, 2020.
